Mr. Anil Risal Singh


Mr. Anil Risal Singh is the former President of Federation of Indian Photography and former Head, Photo Division, National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. He is the President and Life Member of Lucknow Camera Club, India.

Over the last 40 years, he had won around 250 National & International Awards and had held 20 solo exhibitions in India and 2 in USA. His pictures were also part of the Group Exhibition at Place de Festival, Canes, France.

He had been a Jury member of several National & International Salons of Photography. He has also been teaching photography in many Institutes & Organizations and acted as a guest lecturer / examiner / paper setter for various Indian Universities.

Mr. Susanta Banerjee


Mr. Susanta Banerjee is the former Vice President of Federation of Indian Photography and an executive member of PAD. He has mastery over several post-processing and printing techniques that made his photographs distinctive. He has received more than 400 acceptances in International Salons. His works have been awarded from more than 20 countries. Some of his photographs are preserved in the permanent collection in photographic museums of Italy, Austria, Argentina and England.

He is co-author of the book 'Experimental Photography'. His articles on photography are published in the journal of RPS and FIP. He has served as a member of the jury in different National and International Salons in India and was also invited to England to become one of the judges in the Surrey Salon of Creative Photography.

Mohammed Arfan Asif


Md. Arfan Asif based out of Dubai, is the Chapter Organizer of the Dubai Chapter of the Royal Photographic Society. He is also the Country Representative for ICSI and PSNJ. He has won more than 275 awards in National and International Salons. His photographs have been exhibited in over 40 countries in various Salon Exhibitions. To promote photography among youth he had established Askary Awads in India in 1997. He also mentors beginners in photography in Dubai under a forum called Shutter Bugs Creative Forum.

Md. Arfan Asif had been a member of jury in many international salons.

Mr. M N Jayakumar


Mr. M N Jayakumar pursues a lifelong passion for protection of wildlife and conservation of natural resources. After 4 decades in Indian Forest Service, Mr. Jayakumar retired as the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Member Secretary, Zoo Authority of Karnataka. He has had the privilege of travelling extensively across various National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries in India, capturing the essence of nature through his camera. MN Jayakumar has won numerous awards and Certificates of Merit in National and International photography salons. His photographs have been displayed across exhibitions in India, England, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Finland, Australia, Scotland, USA and South Africa. Select images have also been published in leading newspapers, magazines and books of National and International repute. He has also authored the book “Life in the Jungle: Memoirs of a Forester”. He had been on the jury of many salons.

Mr. Sudhir Shivaram

Mr. Sudhir Shivaram is the winner of the Yellow Border Award from National Geographic Society for his photograph that appeared on the cover of the National Geographic Traveller India’s September 2013 magazine. Mr. Sudhir Shivaram is one of the most respected Wildlife Photographers in India. He was the founding member of the photo sharing site India Nature Watch. He was the Brand Ambassador for Canon. Among the many awards that he won, the Sanctuary Asia Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 Award is one of them. He teaches and mentors photographers.

Mr. Dhritiman Mukherjee

Mr. Dhritiman Mukherjee is very well known for his work on rare, endangered and challenging subjects. His photographs have been frequently published with brands like BBC, National Geographic, New York Times, Lonely Planet, London Geographic, WWF, UNESCO and Birdlife International. He is a widely-travelled wildlife photographer covering most of the national parks in India and abroad. He has won many national and international awards and accolades, the Carl Zeiss Conservation Award 2013 being one of them. He is one of the founders of the “Saevus” wildlife magazine in India.


Judging will be digital and public. YPS has developed a system for online scoring by judges. The system also allows the images to be filtered by score and other parameters and help judges finalize images for awards. During Judging, public will be allowed to participate without disturbing the judging process and witness the scores awarded to the pictures. The venue of judging will be announced on the Salon Website. Results finalize will also be announced on the Salon Website and intimations will be sent to all entrants about the scores, acceptances and prizes.
